UNIFORMS

It is important for our students to be dressed for success each and every day that they are in school. By following the dress code, students will be prepared and will not miss class time to correct dress code problems. Below is the dress code for Alturas Elementary. If you have any questions or need uniform assistance please let us know. Bottoms: Navy, black, khaki/tan. Shorts, pants, skorts, skirted jumpers must be plain, solid color twill, corduroy or denim fabric. Traditional blue jeans color is OK for denim. Bottoms may NOT have stripes, colored trim, large logos, embroidery, sequins, or any other decorations. Bottoms may not be overalls, sweat pants, or knit pants/skirts or leggings. Skirts and skorts must be mid-thigh or longer in length.

**Belts: MUST be worn if garment has belt loops.

All clothes must be appropriate size, with the waist of the garment worn at the student's waist. Clothes that are too loose or tight may not be worn.

Thanks for your attention to this important matter.
